NetSuite FAQ’s
-
Oracle NetSuite is the #1 Cloud business management tool in the world. Trusted globally by more than 27,000 fast-growing companies of all sizes and industries.
The platform consists of a suite of industry-leading applications. Their core goal is to help business like yours manage their company, gain real-time performance insights and drive efficiency whilst cutting down on IT costs by up to 75%.
NetSuite’s ERP solution manages core functions, with finance and accounting, inventory, orders and procurement just scratching the surface. One of the most appealing aspects of NetSuite is its’ ability to meet customer’s individualist needs. Users can add options such as CRM for sales, service and marketing automation, human resources (HR) for personnel records, performance management and payroll, professional services automation (PSA) to plan and track projects and omnichannel commerce for both online and in-store sales.
The listed modules are all stored on a centralised database. No more restlessly trying to analyse different pieces of data on different access points. NetSuite provides a single version of truth, allowing you to manage the entirety of your business in one place, online.
Gain a real-time, 360° view of your business which aids you in fuelling decision making across all departments. Save time, resources and headache.
Oracle NetSuite utilises the software as a service (SaaS) model; clients pay a subscription fee to access the technology but are not responsible for any underlying infrastructure or system maintenance, including purchasing and setting up servers, installing software or testing and deploying patches and upgrades. Oracle NetSuite handles all of that for customers, with two new software updates per year. With this model, you can save up to 75% in IT costs.
Eliminating the maintenance and upgrade costs that come with on-premises solutions not only saves money, it frees employees to focus on the company’s mission and serve customers.
Your business can also scale like never before: companies can toggle functionality on/off as they need it. This makes the process of growth seamless and accessible at the click of a button. E.g., a B2B manufacturer may add NetSuite’s ecommerce module after it decides to start selling online.
With Oracle NetSuite, your business can gain 360° visibility and control through a single source of real-time information and the ability to add modules on the fly. That increases their efficiency and agility.

Businesses looking to automate core processes typically look at two main software solutions, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM). ERP helps companies run successful businesses by connecting their financial and operational systems to a central database, while CRM helps manage how businesses interact with their customers.
Both serve as vital data repositories and reflect key business processes throughout an organisation. Both also touch on multiple departments and due to this the software is often bought separately.
The benefit of NetSuite is the synthesis of CRM and ERP processes within one platform, which reduces the risk of isolating key processes within your organisation and allows you to focus on the real-time data that helps you make the necessary decisions in your organisation.

It allows you to reduce costs regarding server and hardware management and increase productivity throughout your organisation. Specifically in the unprecedented times regarding covid-19, a cloud-based solution allows your business to continue to function, whether your staff are working remotely at home, in the office, or a mix of both!

There are two key differences between Cloud and on-premise software; the cost for each differs and so does the level of ownership.
Cloud-based
For smaller firms, the cloud is particularly more useful as it provides full functionality at a reasonable price as there is no upfront investment required. Plus, cloud software is usually priced under a monthly or annual subscription package, covering training, support, and updates. The right cloud provider would offer enhanced scalability and agility. Therefore, with cloud computing you get greater flexibility, time, and money savings.
On premise
On premise on the other hand is mostly priced under an upfront perpetual license fee. In addition to that, the company remains responsible and bears the cost for training, support, and updates.
