What is View?

At 3EN, we understand the absolute necessity for accurate, real-time reporting. Accurate, up-to-date reports are vital for any business to keep track of daily business KPIs, they can lead to an understanding of any risks and issues that need to be addressed and support the business in planning, forecasting, and goal setting. 

Reporting can come in many different forms within NetSuite. Depending on their permissions, an everyday user can have access to saved searches, custom reports, NetSuite’s standard report back, SuiteAnalytics workbook, and dashboard KPIs, to name a few.

We have spoken with many clients over the years about how a select user group only needs access to certain reports. Whether that be monthly management reports, board reporting packs, or third-party access to specific information in the form of a report, this user group will require access to viewing the critical information that NetSuite can provide through its reporting capabilities.

While NetSuite reports are great if a group of users only want to access specific reports on a regular basis, they will require a full user login to do so. Equally, the reports are most likely to be laid out on separate pages.

This is where View can help.

View is a 3EN Application that displays your business’s key information within a KPI dashboard, enabling you to display your NetSuite reports and KPIs on an external dashboard in an easily digestible manner. Using only one NetSuite user login, View allows you to select key operational and transactional information to present in real time, either to a group of people or on your individual desktop.

KPI’s can be displayed in graphs, charts or as single figures to ensure the information is being communicated as efficiently as possible, it can be branded to your business guidelines and can be shared with someone inside your organization who may not have access to NetSuite, such as at a Board meeting or an investors briefing.

To name just two of the advantages of View, it would be the need for only one user login to view a dashboard, lending itself to cost savings of purchasing multiple logins and administration overheads of developing the correct role for a report-only user. Secondly, the easily accessible and easy-to-read dashboard can be accessed via a web browser on any device.
